Low-budget atmosphere with a grimey feel. Disappointing to see a great location on Tetbury high street being poorly managed. Staff were somewhat reasonable, but overall standards are low. Poor quality drinks and food.

Excellent central location with nice rooms and good service. Noise can be an issue due to it being a pub/restaurant. Great breakfast. Only drawback is lack of parking, but free car park is a short walk away. Would stay again.

Poor location due to lack of parking. Staff are friendly but overly annoying during breakfast, asking endless questions. Room was tiny with insufficient amenities. Decor was unappealing and potentially hazardous. Continental breakfast lacked inspiration and quality. Overall a huge disappointment and would not stay again.

Another delightful stay at this beautiful place. We had three rooms and were all pleased. Amazing decor and comfort. Very dog-friendly with lovely staff. Will definitely return.

Lovely room, welcoming staff. However, had to remind staff of our drink orders multiple times. Disappointed with the £8 charge for a continental breakfast and lack of full English option. Basic but expensive food. Gents toilets were unacceptable. Would not stay again.

Travelled from East Sussex to the Cotswolds late at night and stayed here for one night. Cheaper than a premier hotel but much better. Great decor with lots of character in the room. Breakfast was standard. Enjoyed the bar area for a drink and relaxation. Road parking available opposite, free in the early evening until 8am.

Unexpected stop due to booked hotel being flooded. Team was extremely helpful and attentive. Room was nice with a comfortable bed. Hotel has character. Food for evening meal and breakfast was very good, cooked fresh to order with quality products.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Ormond. Beautifully presented sea bass. Very pleasant and friendly table service from Rudi and Nick. Had a good laugh with Rudi.

Great location and venue, but marred by terrible service. Pinot Grigio was sour and undrinkable. Despite complaints, staff were dismissive. Lost AUD20 with no offer for a replacement. Opted to go to the Snooty Fox instead and had a fantastic evening.

Bill included a hidden service charge without notification. Poor service began with a dirty cup being abruptly taken from my wife's hand. Despite complaints, issues were not resolved. Paid £75 for meals and felt completely ripped off. A definite no-go.

Fantastic dinner options with amazing pizzas and burgers. However, be aware that the restaurant leans more towards a pub atmosphere. Reception is not consistently staffed, with bar staff also handling reception duties. This detracts from the hotel experience. Stayed in room 21, one of the nicer rooms, but missed having a bath. Room was spacious but lacked privacy if guests were in the beer garden. Overall, a decent hotel in Tetbury, but only satisfactory.

Clean and comfortable rooms, good and reasonably priced food. Friendly staff. Convenient location on the high street. The downside is the lack of parking, but a good car park is a five-minute walk away at the top of the famous Tetbury steps. There is also a nice little cafe wine bar near the car park. Have stayed at The Ormond about eight times over the years, so it must be okay.
